How to flash stock firmware LG with LG Flash tool
Here in this tutorial we will show you how to use the Flash Tool on your LG phone.
But before that, let me clear up some things for you.
This is not the official LG tool and this is made by some of the best Android developers so you can install the latest updates on your LG phone.
Download all:
- Download and install LG USB driver
- Download and install LG Flash Tool and LGUP
- Download the LG Firmware for your device
Instructions with LG Flash Tool:
Step 1: Place device in download mode. Power device off, while holding volume up, plug computer usb cable into your phone.
Step 2: Run the LG Flash tool .exe file
Step 3: Select “CDMA” as device type and “diag” as phone mode.
Step 4: Use the KDZ file you previously downloaded.
Step 5: Use” Normal Flash” to flash without losing any data. This is to fix system errors. Flashing anything besides the same current firmware will result in a boot loop.
Step 6: Use “CSE Flash” to wipe all data and flash stock firmware onto your device. Use this if you are soft bricked, boot looping, downgrading, sideloading update or just need to go back to 100% stock.
Step 7: Click start and choose your country and language in the pop up window.
Step 8: Hit ok and don’t touch anything until it says 100%.
Instructions with LGUP:
Step 1: We need to determine the LG phone line we are using.
Step 2: After determining, we will download the ROM for the device.
Step 3: Install LGUP software on your computer.
Step 4: Put the device into Download mode.
After the installation is complete, turn off the phone and hold down the Volume Up button then Plug in the cable to connect to the computer. The phone will now enter Download mode.

Run time will take 5-10 Minutes then the machine will reboot by itself.
Accomplished! Just follow the above 5 steps, you can install ROM for your LG phone already. This tutorial is the end, hopefully will bring useful knowledge to those who are using LG phones.
